Previously recognized as the MACC Statewide Cultural Competence Conference, the 2019 Ohio Cultural Competence Conference (OCCC) will be hosted at the Ohio Union on The Ohio State University’s campus on November 1st. This conference will expand on our mission of promoting culturally competent practices within mental and behavioral health services to addressing the need for this work across all industries.
This one-day conference will host featured keynotes, and two breakout sessions – each breakout session will consist of multiple 90-minute workshops.
Mirroring our tagline, the 2019 OCCC will seek to engage, educate and empower all attendees over the following topics:
